Movie night was great! This will be something to definitely do again maybe with one movie rather than a double feature. The night was pretty long for us older people! (perhaps I should just speak for myself).
The aroma of the popcorn and the big screen really made it feel like a theater. Thank you to Kristine and Dave Juhl for donating and operating the popcorn machine. Thanks to Sunni Ausland for organizing the popcorn feed! Bob Knorr once again was our technical support wizard! Thanks Bob. Our 5th graders raised over $100 to help them with the expenses for their trip to Camp Orkila in May. Thanks to everyone who supported them with their purchases and donations.
Coming up on May 2nd from 6:30 -8pm is the annual spring dance 70’s style. Dave Andersons “Get The Party Started” will be our DJ host for the night. Dress up in your colorful 70’s clothes, wigs, hats, glasses and show us your 70’s dance moves! Our PTA will be serving ice cream sundaes.
Do you have your act together?
Variety show auditions begin on Wednesday, May 21st 7:30am-9:00am and 3:30 – 5:00 pm & Thursday, May 22nd 7:00am – 8:45 am
Participants only need to show at one audition. When they are finished they may leave.
Acts must be kept to a minimum of 3 minutes.
Results will be posted on Friday May 23rd on the family night bulletin board.
